Our key indicator
- Percentage of staff living near where they work.
The decision to produce at sites located in countries with relatively high labor costs and to work with local training and employment organizations is an integral part of Prayon's strategy.
With nearly 95% of its personnel living in the region where it operates, Prayon is proud to participate in the socioeconomic development of the regions where it operates.
In order to raise awareness of its activities, Prayon regularly takes on interns or student workers during the summer for tasks that do not require specific skills, with particular attention paid to their safety.
In addition, several Prayon representatives are voluntarily involved in various training and employment initiatives implemented by different organizations, such as the Essenscia Federation, the Puurs Human Resources Network, the Employment and Education Committee of the Walloon Business Union, the Education Foundation, etc.
Lastly, most of the activities outsourced by Prayon are entrusted to local partners, depending on the skills required.
Our achievements in 2022
- Participation in the employment day organized by the municipality of Engis;
- Continuing to take on numerous young people at all the sites and in various formats: internship, student job, work-study, training, etc.
